‘Raees’ and ‘Dear Zindagi’ will not face any protest - Thackeray
Yesterday Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil finally got its go ahead from MNS chief Raj Thackeray. Karan along with Producers Guild head Mukesh Bhatt met Thackeray and Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis to come to a final settlement that Bollywood pledged to never work with any Pakistani artists in future and that Ae Dil Hai Mushkil should be allowed a free release.

Speaking of which Thackeray has has even demanded a written note from the producers Guild that they will not collaborate with any Pakistani artists henceforth and donate 5 Crore to Army funds and will run message to pay tribute for the martiers of Uri attack. But with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil walking out free, how about Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming films Raees and Dear Zindagi for even they star Pakistani actors namely – Mahira Khan and Ali Zafar respectively.
Well, making it clear for all, the working president of Maharashtra Navnirman Chitrapat Karmachari Sena, Shalini Thackeray said in a recent panel discussion that Raees and Dear Zindagi will NOT face any protests.
She said “They always said that these films were shot before the (Uri) attack happened. So, in today’s meeting, it became clear that apart from the three films which have been completed– ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, ‘Raees’ and ‘Dear Zindagi’ — no other films with Pakistani artistes will be released. No films with Pakistani actors will be shot. This was decided by the CM, MNS, and producers guild together.”
