Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited Bollywood actor SalmanKhan at his residence after two bike-borne assailants fired several rounds of shots outside the Bollywood actor's residence in Mumbai on April 14

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde met Bollywood actor Salman Khan at Galaxy Apartment in Bandra. Senior screenwriter Salim Khan, father of Salman Khan, was also present on this occasion.

During the visit, the Chief Minister assured Salman and his family of their safety. He also said that their security has been increased.

Two days after the shooting incident outside Salman's house, the Mumbai Police's Crime Branch has arrested two of the accused. After that, Chief Minister Shinde met the Khan family and assured them of their safety. Former MLA Baba Siddiqui, MLA Zeeshan Siddiqui and Yuva Sena's Rahul Kanal were also present on this occasion.
