Bollywood Star Kangana Ranaut Slapped at Chandigarh Airport

Chandigarh, June 6, 2024 — In a shocking turn of events, renowned Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut was reportedly slapped by a woman constable of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)at Chandigarh Airport on Thursday afternoon. The incident, which has since gone viral on social media, has left fans and onlookers in disbelief.

Videos of the incident quickly surfaced online, showing Kangana visibly shaken but maintaining her composure as she was escorted by security. Social media erupted with reactions, with hashtags like #KanganaRanaut and #chandigarhairport trending within hours.

In another viral video purportedly from the airport, constable Kulwinder can be heard saying, “My mother was also among the protesters when she [Kangana] made these remarks”. The constable was detained and taken to the CISF Commandant Office for questioning.

The BJP MP took the matter to her ‘X’ account where she described the incident during her security check. She said, “I am safe and perfectly fine.”

The incident occurred during a frisking procedure conducted by LCT Kulwinder Kaur. Kaur slapped Ranaut, claiming the reason was due to Ranaut’s disrespect towards farmers.

Kulwinder Kaur is currently being questioned by senior CISF officers regarding the incident.
